The reputed Hansraj College has introduced certificate and short-term courses that help students find a place in the acting, filmmaking and mass communication segments. These include:

Acting and Filmmaking: The course helps the new enthusiasts learn more about acting, and movie making. It focuses on subjects including TV/Movie direction fundamentals, script writing production basics and acting module among others. The pass outs can find a place in the always lucrative film and TV industry of India.

Mass Communication, Advertising, and Marketing: Mass communication and advertising professionals are required in almost all segments including education, media and others. The course stresses on subjects including journalism, radio & TV program production, media planning, creativity, client servicing and other topics that give deep insights into the advertising and marketing industry as well.

Radio Jockeying, Anchoring and TV Journalism: The course focuses on subjects including phonetics, verb al communication and languages, personality development, script writing, radio presentation, sound accents and others. Upon completion of the course, one can start his or her career as a radio or FM jockey or can also hold suitable positions in the media and anchoring segment.

The classes for these courses are conducted in the College (after 3 pm) on two days a week basis. Hence anyone can easily learn the arts in the spare time and be easily successful in a media job.
